- Trip cost includes a 15% non-refundable administrative fee.
- Hikes may be cancelled up to 30 Days before the trip for a refund (minus the 15% admin fee).
- Within 30 Days, a 50% refund will be offered.
- Within 1 week, no refunds will be offered.
- If Pisgah Adventure Company LLC. cancels the trip due to severe weather, we'll offer a refund with a 15% admin fee if you do not reschedule.
- We are unable to offer exceptions to this policy; we strongly recommend all hikers purchase travel insurance to cover their trip or a credit card that offers this benefit.
- Hikers may reschedule their trip once (at least 1 month before their trip) free of charge. Additional changes to create custom reservation date may result in a rescheduling fee.
- I am responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, and gear and it is not applicable to cancel due to lack of gear. It is as the discrection of Pisgah Adventure Company to cancel if the gear is not adequate for the expedition. Or if Pisgah Adventure Company LLC., and any of its independent contractors, guides, instructors, agents, subsidiaries, representatives, or affiliates deem your equipment is not adequately prepared a refund will not be initiated.
- If there is an emergency within the hike, causing the hike or the remainder of the hike to be canceled/resecheduled the remainder of time can be applied to your next expedition.
- Non-emegency evacuations will be have a fee. All non-emegency evacuations will have a minimum of a $250 "resuce fee", and all fees are subject to change depending on distance and terrain of adventure. Card information will be left on file until the entirety of the adventure is completed. If the payment cannot be completed, collections will be attempted through civil means or a third party, if the fee cannot be paid in full.
If your guide does an exceptional job, please show your appreciation with a tip. Our team of highly trained professional guides never expects but always appreciates a tip. Industry standard gratuity for a guided backpacking trip is 20-25% of trip price.
